Welcome
Welcome to my web site. I make a wide variety of
fixedblade knives.
Making the Knife
All are forged so no two will be identical. I do however make similar styled knives,
each unique in it's own way.
Forging allows me the creative freedom to
express myself in each knife. All my work will have a "bit of me" in them.
I currently use 52100 &
0-1 and
1084 for my straight carbon blades and utilize both flat and convex
grinds. I also make my own
Damascus utilizing 1084 and 15n20 in my mix.
I feel very strongly about being the sole
author of my blades. I do all of my own work including the sheaths. This makes
me accountable for all my work. Each blade is tested before it leaves my shop.
I test after the blade is done, before any guard or handle work is started.
This way if I feel the blade is not up to my personal standards, I can either fix it then
or scrap it if needed. I will also occasionally do a destructive test to a blade to
assure that my thermal cycling and heat treating is consistent.
Warranty
All my knives are warrantied for as long as I am physically able to make knives (hopefully
this will be a long time). This warranty includes everything but abuse and normal
wear. I also offer free cleaning and sharpening to my customers.
